Nadine Moore Smith, President

With an accounting career spanning more than two decades, Ms. Smith is the President of 3-iT Accounting and Financial Services Corporation. Prior to joining 3-iT Accounting and Financial Services Corporation, she founded Accounting MSA, LLC, where she served as the Principal and Executive Director of Financial Services for more than nine years. Previously, she served as the Project Manager for RSM McGladrey, Inc., a leading national business consulting, accounting, and tax firm that focused on middle market companies. Ms. Smith’s responsibilities included overseeing an $80 million budget for a school district outsourcing project where she was responsible for all financial projections and accounting matters, as well as the reporting of financial conditions at public hearings to State Board appointed Oversight Panel, State Board of Education and School District’s Board of Directors. Her long standing financial career includes a Controller position with DC Trading and Development Corporation, a US parent company with multiple foreign subsidiaries specializing in international privatization. Ms. Smith has also served as a Senior Staff Accountant to the Catholic Arch Diocese of Washington, DC and she has provided financial consulting services to numerous small businesses in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Ms. Smith has an MBA degree from George Mason University.

Diane Bria-Wharton

Diane Bria-Wharton is a Principal of 3-iT Accounting and Financial Services Corporation. Ms. Bria Wharton supervises the firms Senior and Staff Auditors in the completion of audit engagements. She supports audit planning and reporting as well as assesses the work performed by Staff Auditors; providing coaching relevant to the scope, accuracy and completeness of the work performed.

She provides accounting, finance and tax planning advisory services to 3-iT small business and non profit clients.

Prior to joining 3-iT, Ms. Bria-Wharton was a financial consultant for Holistic Financial Services in Crownsville, Maryland. In that capacity she assisted a variety of public and non-profit organizations with support in financial and strategic planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and the preparation of accounting and financial statements. Ms. Bria-Wharton has also performed tax preparation services for individual, corporate, and non-profit organizations.

Ms. Bria-Wharton has been a Senior Accountant/Manager for RSM McGladrey in Baltimore. In that position she planned and managed client projects focused on financial analysis, cash flow projections, cost control and allocation, and business tax compliance.

Ms. Bria-Wharton has worked with QuickBooks, SAGE, and Peachtree accounting platforms.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting, Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio.

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), certified in Ohio and Maryland.
